There is a smoking area available by a bench in the main parking lot. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited inside the Botanica buildings and gardens. All persons entering the Botanica premises consent to the use of their photograph, video, image, voice, and/or likeness for promotion of such events in any and all media and on any and all advertising platforms, in perpetuity, without remuneration. Guests must wear a mask in the Gardens if possible.Botanica, the Wichita Gardens, is a facility that hosts various social events where photographs, videos, and audio recordings may occur. Throughout Botanica’s 20-acre gardens, hand sanitizing stations, surface cleaning and other efforts work to ensure visits are safe and enjoyable. Carousel tickets must also be purchased online and coincide with the same ticketed time slot to Illuminations. The Khicha Family Carousel is open during Illuminations at 50% capacity with sanitizing between each ride. These family-friendly events are designed to share hopefulness and cheer with the Wichita community. Keeping staff, volunteers and guests safe is the top priority. Illuminations kicks off November 14th with limited attendance and online ticket sales. Leave the wheelchairs or strollers in the trunk and stay seated in your car. The parking lot party is a great way to load up toddlers or elderly grandparents and celebrate the holidays with less hassle.
